Can anyone give me some tips for table tennis.. Like whats the best kind of serve and how to impart more spin to the ball.. General stuff, to make me a decent player

If you want to be a “junk ball” player, one who puts a lot of spin on the ball, use English balls, not American (they’re thinner), and have your paddle be the well padded kind, not the thin sandpaper type.
Then…….practice, practice, practice. I used to play a lot when I was younger, and could hit the lines down the edges on half the serves so the ball would drop off and be unplayable half the time. good luck

help with table tennis smash?

ok me and my bro have been playing table tennis for quite a long time now and we are both pretty much at same level of ability but my bro is alot better at smashes than me and basically im always trying to return his smashes and ive becoming pretty good at getting them back but they havent got alot of power on them and usually go quite high so he can keep smashing them, can anyway give me some advise on how to return a smash with more power and turn it into a winning shot?

my smashes and drives are also not very good and alot of the time i hit them out, and when i get them there not powerful enough to make it a hard shot to return, so if anyway could give me some tips on hitting better smashes and drives that would be apprecited, and some tips on differenent serves would help aswell
