For groundstrokes: All depends on what you are looking for. Your form and play style are huge factors in this, so there’s no real answer. Any selection from any list you could create would be wrong, because this is going to vary greatly from person to person.
Best frame for the price? I have to go off your list for this one. I’d have to go with the Prince Speedport Tour. It’s the best frame I’ve demoed in a long time. If I had the money, I’d replace my current frames with these. Especially now. At tenniswarehouse.com, they are on sale for $99. But you can buy new demo frames for $79 (unused, but already strung). Definitely the best deal on a great frame at this time.
Best overgrip: Finally, something I can answer. B. I love Wilson Pro grips. I can’t say I’ve tried the gamma or yonex before, though. There’s just something I don’t like about Tourna Grip. And when I tried the babolat overgrips, I wore through them extremely quickly. The Wilson feels great, and is pretty durable.

Does a tennis grip that is too big for the hand causes strain on the hand? Or Strings? Or String Tension?
I got my ntour racquet re strung with a different string. I was playing with babolat polyester strings for atleast 6 months until they popped for the first time. Now I got it strung with wilson synthetic gut and because it just got strung it has a different string tension. Also I usually play with a 4 1/2 grip with just the original grip, without any overgrips. The shop replaced the original grip because it was almost worn out and added an overgrip on top of that. So now the grip feels bigger than 4 1/2. I played for about 15 mins and I felt that my hand got tired already. It was also hurting a little bit in the palm area underneath the knuckles( or is it the joints in that area?). So… what could be the cause for the aching? Is it the bigger grip? the new strings? The new tighter string tension?
TeeJ I would say that it is the grip or a combination of the grip and higher or relatively higher tension. The old strings had lost tension and were comfortable. Now that it has been restrung it feels much tighter relative to the old string so more shock or vibration is going through the frame. Most pros restring so often that they are accustomed to the higher tension and most male pros have smaller grip sizes. I was shocked to read that some went as low as 4 1/8. These are men playing with child sized grips just to get more wrist snap into the shot. So for you to be using nearly a 4 5/8 is putting more stress on your hand as well as forearm. Your volleys may benefit but your serves, groundstrokes and hand certainly won’t. I experienced similar pain in my hand when I switched from my Wilson nTour 4 1/2 to the Volkl DNX 10 4 1/2. Since Wilson grips are more square and my hand had gotten used to them as the preferred grip over the years switching to a more rectangular grip was stressing the hand. Once I replaced the 4 1/2 pallets with 4 3/8 and one Yonex Supergrap overwrap it was like the Wilson more and felt fine. I have since gone back to Wilson kTour 90 and went down to 4 3/8 and enjoy it more. Demo a 4 3/8 frame (which is the normal demo size at most places) and when its time to replace your current sticks you can get some in smaller grip size. The strings themselves shouldn’t cause any problems.
